Divergence tracks HuffPost as left, based on coverage monitored since March 2026. Across 783 scored events (1,320 articles), its coverage diverges from the cross-spectrum consensus at an average of 30 out of 100, roughly in line with the site-wide average of 27.
Its most common framing is critical (54% of events, followed by neutral at 28%). In 58% of the events it covers, HuffPost takes a framing no other outlet in the cluster shares, one of the higher contrarian rates we track. Coverage concentrates on politics and war.
