Iranian state broadcaster IRIB reported on Wednesday that Tehran has obtained a draft framework for a memorandum of understanding with the United States. The proposed deal would restore commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz within a month and involve a US withdrawal of military forces and lifting of a naval blockade. Pakistan has been mediating indirect talks between the two countries following a conflict that began in February.
