An Islamabad court sentenced 23-year-old Umar Hayat to death for the June 2024 murder of 17-year-old TikTok influencer Sana Yousaf. Hayat broke into her home and shot her after she rejected his advances. The court also ordered him to pay 2.5 million rupees in compensation to her family.
