The Office of Personnel Management posted a proposed rule on Tuesday that would create a standardized non-disclosure agreement for federal agencies to use with both new and existing employees. The stated purpose is to prevent unauthorized disclosures of confidential government information to journalists. A 30-day public comment period will begin when the rule is published in the Federal Register.
