Iranian man and woman arrested after attempting to enter UK nuclear submarine base at Faslane
A 34-year-old Iranian man and a 31-year-old woman were arrested on Thursday afternoon after attempting to enter HM Naval Base Clyde (Faslane) in Scotland, which houses Britain's nuclear submarine fleet. The pair were initially turned away at the gate for lacking proper identification and passes, then arrested nearby for allegedly acting suspiciously. Police Scotland and the Ministry of Defence are investigating the incident.
