Additionally, many feeds (especially Google News-proxied sources like CNN, NYT, WSJ, WaPo) can take 10-20+ hours to index new articles. A six-foot-wide, seven-ton meteor traveled through the upper atmosphere before disintegrating over Medina County, Ohio around 9 a.m. Tuesday. The meteor created a shockwave and sonic boom that was heard across several states. Meteorite hunters are now searching the area for fragments.
