Scott Erickson admits accelerating before crash that killed two boys in 2020
Former Dodgers pitcher Scott Erickson testified in a wrongful death trial that he accelerated his SUV when he saw two children about to enter the crosswalk at Triunfo Canyon Road in Westlake Village in 2020, intending to clear the intersection safely. His girlfriend Rebecca Grossman, driving behind him, struck and killed the two boys, Mark and Jacob Iskander, ages 11 and 8. Erickson stated he was traveling between 50-55 mph and later drove to Grossman's home before learning of the accident.
