Remains of second U.S. Army soldier missing during Morocco military exercises recovered
The remains of Spc. Mariyah Symone Collington, 19, of Taveres, Florida, were recovered Wednesday, ending a multinational search operation in Morocco involving air, naval, and artificial intelligence assets. Collington served as an air and missile defense crewmember assigned to Charlie Battery, 5th Battalion, 4th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, and had been stationed in Ansbach, Germany since February 2025. This recovery follows the earlier discovery of another soldier, 1st Lt. Kendrick Lamont Key Jr., with both soldiers having fallen off a cliff during military exercises.
