Israeli drones struck three vehicles on a main highway south of Beirut on Wednesday, killing at least eight people including two children, according to Lebanon's Ministry of Health. The strikes occurred in the Jiyeh area approximately 20km south of the capital. Lebanon and Israel are scheduled to hold direct negotiations in Washington on Thursday.
