Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez leading Democratic primary preferences in a hypothetical 2028 presidential race. Rubio received 45.4% support versus Vice President JD Vance's 29.6% among Republicans, while Ocasio-Cortez narrowly edged Pete Buttigieg among Democrats. None of the candidates has formally announced a 2028 campaign.
