Craig Morton, who played 18 seasons in the NFL from 1965 to 1982 for the Cowboys, Broncos, and Giants, died Saturday in Mill Valley, California, at age 83. He was the first quarterback to start the Super Bowl for two different franchises, the Cowboys and Broncos, though he lost both games. Morton won a Super Bowl ring as a backup and was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame after playing at the University of California under coaches Marv Levy and Bill Walsh.
