Bobby Cox, Hall of Fame manager of the Atlanta Braves, dies at age 84
Bobby Cox, who managed the Atlanta Braves for 25 years and led them to 14 consecutive division titles and a 1995 World Series championship, died Saturday at age 84. Cox took over a last-place team in 1990 and transformed it into a National League powerhouse, winning five pennants. He was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2014.
