Israel releases two Gaza flotilla activists for deportation

Two activists from the Global Sumud Flotilla—Spanish-Palestinian Saif Abu Keshek and Brazilian Thiago Avila—are being released by Israeli authorities and transferred to immigration custody for deportation to their home countries. The pair were among dozens detained when Israeli forces intercepted the flotilla in international waters off Greece last month; 168 other flotilla members were released in Crete.
