Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen resigns amid investigation into alleged affair with redistricting attorney
Utah Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen resigned Friday following allegations of an inappropriate relationship with attorney David Reymann, who represented the League of Women Voters in Utah's congressional redistricting case. Hagen had previously denied a conflict of interest and recused herself from cases involving Reymann in May 2025. The Judicial Conduct Commission opened an investigation into the allegations, and Republican state leaders including Gov. Spencer Cox called for reforms to the commission.
