NCAA announces expansion of March Madness tournaments to 76 teams each
The NCAA voted to expand both men's and women's March Madness tournaments from 68 to 76 teams beginning next season, adding eight teams to each bracket. The expansion will add 12 games involving 24 teams to the First Four play-in round in the first week. This is the first expansion in 15 years.
