Israeli court extends detention of Gaza aid flotilla activists
Two activists from a Gaza-bound humanitarian aid flotilla, Spanish citizen Saif Abu Keshek and Brazilian Thiago Avila, appeared in Israeli court in Ashkelon on Sunday after being detained and taken to Israel by Israeli forces. The court extended their detention by two days for further interrogation. The activists were among dozens intercepted by Israeli forces in international waters off Greece on Thursday; 168 were taken to Crete while two were brought to Israel for questioning.
