Israel issues evacuation orders for southern Lebanese towns during ceasefire
Israel's military issued new forced displacement orders on Sunday for residents of more than 10 villages and towns in southern Lebanon, including areas north of the Litani River and beyond its current occupation zone. The orders came despite a U.S.-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Hezbollah that has been in place since April 17. Israeli strikes subsequently hit southern Lebanese towns, some not mentioned in the evacuation orders.
