Barry Christian, 54, a Republican candidate for Oklahoma Senate District 38, was reported missing after failing to appear for a scheduled meeting on Tuesday. His body was discovered Thursday in his pickup truck in the Sandy Sanders Wildlife Management Area near Erick, Oklahoma, approximately 20 minutes from his home in Sayre.
