Indian national Rajinder Kumar, an undocumented immigrant, was involved in a November truck accident in Deschutes County, Oregon that killed newlyweds William Micah Carter and Jennifer Lynn Lower. Despite an ICE detainer and local charges, Kumar was released from jail on April 2 after posting $25,000 of his $250,000 bond. ICE re-arrested him on April 22.
