Mexican special forces arrested Audias Flores, alias 'El Jardinero', a top regional commander of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), in the state of Nayarit. The operation involved more than 500 troops, six helicopters, and several planes following months of surveillance, and was carried out without shots fired. The US had offered a $5 million reward for Flores, who is also sought for extradition by American authorities.
