Israel deployed an Iron Dome system and troops to the UAE during the Israel-Iran war.
Israel sent an Iron Dome air defense system along with troops to operate it to the United Arab Emirates early in the war with Iran, according to two Israeli officials and one U.S. official. The UAE had been targeted by Iran more than any other country in the region since the war began. The deployment had not been previously made public.
