Tourist falls into sewage pit after outback toilet collapses in Australia's Northern Territory

A woman on a road trip in the Australian outback fell waist-deep into a sewage pit after a pit toilet collapsed at the Henbury Meteorites Conservation Zone, about 145km south-west of Alice Springs. She was trapped for approximately three hours before a passing tradesman rescued her using a rope and his car. She was taken to hospital but did not suffer serious injuries.
