New York City Council member Chi Ossé (D) was arrested on Wednesday during a protest aimed at preventing a city resident from being evicted from her home. Ossé was subsequently released and spoke to reporters outside the NYPD's 79th Precinct. He told reporters that three men 'manhandled' him during the arrest, according to The Gothamist.
