John Korir of Kenya won the 2025 Boston Marathon in 2 hours, 1 minute, 52 seconds, shattering the previous course record of 2:03:02 set in 2011. Sharon Lokedi also defended her women's title, finishing in 2:18:51. Both Korir and Lokedi each received $150,000 in prize money, with Korir earning an additional $50,000 for the course record.
