Eight children killed in mass shooting in Shreveport, Louisiana

A man identified as 31-year-old Shamar Elkins shot and killed eight children, seven of whom were his own, at multiple locations in Shreveport, Louisiana, early Sunday morning. Two women were also shot and injured. Elkins fled the scene, carjacked a vehicle, and was fatally shot by police during a pursuit into Bossier City.
