Anthropic withholds public release of Mythos Preview AI model due to cybersecurity concerns
Anthropic announced it is restricting access to its new Mythos Preview AI model to select companies due to the model's advanced hacking capabilities. The model can find tens of thousands of security vulnerabilities and create exploits, including discovering decades-old flaws in major operating systems. Instead of public release, Anthropic is providing access to over 40 organizations through Project Glasswing to help them secure their systems.
