A New York Times investigation published Wednesday detailed allegations that late civil rights leader Cesar Chavez sexually abused women and minors during the 1970s. Dolores Huerta, his co-founder at United Farm Workers, and two other women accused Chavez of sexual assault and abuse when they were underage. Cities and organizations have canceled Cesar Chavez Day celebrations scheduled for March 31 in response to the allegations.
