Multiple bomb explosions occurred in Maiduguri, Nigeria killing and injuring scores of people
Bombs exploded at three locations in Maiduguri, Borno state capital in northeastern Nigeria on Monday night, including the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital entrance and two local markets called Post Office and Monday Market. Authorities described the incidents as suspected suicide bombings, with eyewitnesses reporting over 200 injured and multiple deaths. No group has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
