General Motors recalls over 270,000 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles due to rearview camera defect
General Motors is recalling more than 270,000 Chevrolet Malibu vehicles from model years 2023-2025 in the U.S. because the rearview camera screen may display distorted or blank images. The issue stems from a faulty bonding process in the camera housing assembly that could allow moisture to breach the housing bond. GM will replace the defective cameras for free, with owner notifications beginning May 18.
