Rolbert Joachim, a Haitian national in the US illegally, was arrested and charged with murdering a woman at a Florida gas station on April 3rd by repeatedly hitting her with a hammer. DHS confirmed Joachim was released into the country in 2022 under the Biden administration and given Temporary Protected Status, which expired in 2024. ICE officials assisted Fort Myers Police Department in tracking down and arresting Joachim.
