Haitian national charged with hammer murder of woman at Florida gas station

Rolbert Joachim, a Haitian national in the US illegally, was arrested and charged with murdering a woman at a Florida gas station on April 3rd by repeatedly hitting her with a hammer. DHS confirmed Joachim was released into the country in 2022 under the Biden administration and given Temporary Protected Status, which expired in 2024.
