Los Angeles residents express outrage over high ticket prices during Olympic presale lottery

Los Angeles residents participated in a presale ticket lottery for the 2028 Olympics but found prices much higher than expected, with major events costing hundreds or thousands of dollars. The tickets included a 24% service fee, and many popular events like artistic gymnastics and the opening ceremony were marked as unavailable. Despite promises of affordable tickets starting at $28, most available options were for preliminary events rather than finals or medal ceremonies.
