Lebanese Christians displaced by Israel-Hezbollah conflict celebrate Easter away from their homes

Christian families from southern Lebanon, including from the village of Alma al-Shaab, have been displaced due to ongoing hostilities between Israeli forces and Hezbollah. Over 1,400 people have been killed in Lebanon and more than 1 million have been forced to flee their homes since the conflict erupted. Christian villagers who initially stayed in their villages despite Israeli evacuation warnings eventually fled after continued airstrikes, including one that killed 70-year-old Sami Ghafari while tending his garden.
