Two people arrested in connection with investigation into how Dezi Freeman survived seven months as fugitive
Two associates of Dezi Freeman were arrested Saturday morning in north-east Victoria as part of police investigation into how Australia's most wanted fugitive survived seven months on the run. Freeman was shot dead by police on Monday after killing two officers in August and escaping into bushland. Police believe Freeman must have had help to survive and have vowed to hold anyone complicit accountable.
