High-speed train collides with truck at level crossing in northern France killing train driver

A high-speed passenger train traveling from Dunkirk to Paris collided with a truck carrying military equipment at a level crossing in Bully-les-Mines/Béthune-Lens area in northern France on Tuesday morning. The train driver died and 16 people were injured, with the truck driver detained as authorities opened an aggravated manslaughter investigation.
