Israel's Diaspora Affairs Ministry released a report warning of rising lethal attacks on synagogues worldwide ahead of the 88th anniversary of Kristallnacht.
Israel's Diaspora Affairs and Combating Antisemitism Ministry published a report on Thursday examining attacks and threats against Jewish institutions between October 2023 and September 2026. The report found attackers increasingly use firearms, incendiary devices and vehicle-ramming, and that attacks increasingly target congregants traveling to and from services. It cited a record 227 synagogue-related incidents in the UK in 2025 and 32 lethal-weapon attacks in the US in 2025, up from 23 in 2024, while US bomb threats fell from 1,009 in 2023 to 59 in 2025.
