Fighting between Houthi forces and Yemeni government forces intensifies around Taiz, Yemen

Clashes between Iran-backed Houthi rebels and Saudi-backed Yemeni government forces have concentrated around the southwestern city of Taiz, four months into renewed fighting. Houthi forces have largely blocked goods, fuel, water and medical supplies from reaching the government-held city, displacing around 134,000 people in the Taiz governorate. A UN agency said more than 13,000 pregnant women lack essential healthcare.
