Hacktivist group leaks personal data of over 40,000 DHS employees

A group calling itself the Department of Peace breached DHS personnel files and provided the data to transparency group Distributed Denial of Secrets, which published it via a searchable database. The leaked records cover more than 40,000 employees across ICE, CBP, USCIS, HSI, CISA and other DHS agencies. DHS said it was aware of a potential breach and was working to address it.
