Netanyahu calls for right-wing government after Israeli elections and rules out coalition with Arab parties

Following Israel's October 27, 2026 elections, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said Likud is the largest party and the right-wing bloc holds a decisive majority among Jewish and Zionist voters. He said forming a government dependent on anti-Zionist Arab parties would be a disgrace, and pledged to remove the threat from Iran. Exit polls showed neither bloc projected to reach the 61 Knesset seats needed for a majority.
