A New York woman was convicted of receiving military training from ISIS in Syria.

A federal jury in New York convicted Halima Salman, 27, of receiving military training from ISIS after her parents brought her to Syria in 2016. Prosecutors presented photos and a training document from her husband's phone; her defense argued she was coerced into the marriage and the group. She faces up to 10 years in prison, with sentencing set for Feb. 2.
