A fire began with an explosion at the Quaker Oats plant in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, on Saturday afternoon, with firefighters responding around 4:45 p.m. All workers evacuated safely and were accounted for without injuries, according to Mayor Tiffany O'Donnell. The cause was not immediately known and would be investigated, said PepsiCo Foods US, which owns the brand.
