Austria expels four Russian diplomats from Vienna on espionage-related grounds
Austria's foreign ministry declared four Vienna-based Russian diplomats personae non gratae on Friday, ordering them to leave the country over activities incompatible with their diplomatic status. Three worked at Russia's embassy to Austria and one at Russia's OSCE delegation. Russia said it would respond. The expulsions bring to 18 the number of Russian diplomats Austria has expelled since 2020.

The split, in one line
All four outlets report the same expulsion and the same 'incompatible with diplomatic status' language; they diverge only in whether espionage is named outright or left as the diplomatic euphemism, and in how much Vienna's spy-hub context they supply.
