P&G reported first-quarter net sales of US$23.28 billion, up 4% and above analyst estimates of US$22.80 billion. The company raised its estimate of the fiscal 2027 profit hit from higher raw material, energy and transportation costs to about US$1.4 billion from US$1 billion.
