A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged after allegedly secretly recording a sexual encounter with a UNC Charlotte student and sharing the video to a fraternity group chat.
Alexander Michael Evanoff, 19, was arrested Monday and charged with two counts of felony secret peeping and disclosing private images. Police say he recorded a sexually explicit video of a UNC Charlotte student without her consent on Sept. 19 and shared it to a Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity group chat. He was released Tuesday on a $10,000 bond; UNCC said he is not a currently enrolled student.
