Israel bars a United Airlines pilot from entering as crew over alleged pro-Iran social media posts

Israel's Transportation Ministry notified United Airlines that pilot Sina Amjadian, of Iranian descent, is barred from entering Israel as flight crew after the Diaspora Affairs Ministry flagged his pro-Iranian regime and Hezbollah-related social media activity. The ministry said Amjadian flies only domestic US and Canada routes and has no Israel assignments, so the directive changes no schedules. The case follows an attempted hijacking aboard a flydubai flight en route to Israel weeks earlier.

The split, in one line
The Israeli outlets frame it as a vetting and security protocol question tied to a recent hijacking attempt; the NY Post leads with pro-terrorist sympathies and a California-based pilot, burying the no-Israel-routes detail mid-story.
