Kissimmee, Florida Mayor Jackie Espinosa was arrested Wednesday on one count of grand theft and one count of organized scheme to defraud, announced Florida Attorney General James Uthmeier. Her attorney Migdalia Perez said the mayor maintains her innocence and will challenge the allegations in court. Espinosa has served as mayor since November 2024.
