Netflix issued a weaker-than-expected fourth-quarter forecast after slowing revenue growth and layoffs.
Netflix reported third-quarter revenue of $12.87 billion, up 11.8% but the slowest growth in nearly three years, and forecast fourth-quarter net income of $2.79 billion and EPS of 67 cents, below analyst estimates. The company cut its 2026 advertising forecast to about $2.7 billion from $3 billion. The report came days after Netflix laid off about 6% of staff and replaced two top programming executives.
