CNN threatens further legal action against the Justice Department over continued exclusion from Air Force One press pool

CNN's outside counsel Ted Boutrous sent a demand letter to the Justice Department warning of additional judicial relief if the White House keeps excluding CNN crews from Air Force One travel. The exclusion follows a broader legal fight in which CNN, MS NOW and Politico were banned from the White House, sued, and won a preliminary injunction from US District Judge Tim Kelly restoring access. The White House has not provided written notice or explanation for the Air Force One exclusions, and the Justice Department did not respond to a request for comment.
