Drone strikes hit a market in the disputed Abyei region, killing scores of people

Drones struck Amiet Market north of Abyei town on Monday, and Abyei's caretaker information minister Yohana Akol Ngor said the death toll rose to at least 153 by Tuesday. South Sudan blamed Sudan's military and summoned Sudan's ambassador; a Sudanese military officer said the army targeted fuel tankers bound for the RSF. MSF said it treated more than 20 wounded people, some with severe burns.
