Russia expels British diplomat over spying allegations

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) ordered a British diplomat to leave the country within two weeks over allegations of economic espionage and providing false information when entering Russia. The UK Foreign Office rejected the accusations as baseless and accused Russia of harassment and intimidation of British embassy staff. This is the latest in a series of diplomatic expulsions between Russia and the UK since Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
