The UK announces deployment of RAF Typhoon fighter jets to defend Saudi Arabia against Houthi missile and drone attacks.

The UK Ministry of Defence said RAF Typhoon jets will fly defensive counter-air missions over Saudi Arabia to protect cities and critical infrastructure from Houthi missiles and drones, and will not conduct offensive strikes in Yemen. The deployment also includes an A400M transport aircraft, military advisers, and a 90-day extension of air-to-air refuelling support. It follows repeated Houthi attacks on Riyadh's King Khalid International Airport and Saudi oil facilities.
